It doesn't seem like it in this picture, but Charlie will sure miss his sister while she is gone.
Today was a big day in our house! Ashley is starting 5th grade, and will be attending a new school this year. She is the first 5th grade class at our new intermediate school. She was super excited to go this morning. She put on her new clothes, new back pack and straightened her new hair style and was ready to hit the road. I dropped her off and she was ready to see her friends.I always get a little teared up on the first day of school. I enjoy spending the summer with my kids at home (even though they do get on my nerves from time to time.!!!). It seems so much more relaxed during the summer, but now time for homework and early bedtimes! YUCK!!!!
