Well, we decided to treat ourselves to a pre school pizza outing. None other than the pizza master of Amarillo. Vince's pizza. We don't frequent here since it is quite a drive from home, and you never really know if they will be open or not. This has been a favorite of Henry's for years, just a place that doesn't taste quite as good unless it is bubbly hot.We ordered half cheese and half pepperoni and sausage. (My FAVORITE)!!! Yummy
Heck we even let Charlie cheat to enjoy the bubbly goodness, and boy did he enjoy it. I don't know the last time he got to eat pizza. This picture speaks for itself on how he felt about it! HAHA

First day of 5th Grade!

It doesn't seem like it in this picture, but Charlie will sure miss his sister while she is gone.
Today was a big day in our house! Ashley is starting 5th grade, and will be attending a new school this year. She is the first 5th grade class at our new intermediate school. She was super excited to go this morning. She put on her new clothes, new back pack and straightened her new hair style and was ready to hit the road. I dropped her off and she was ready to see her friends.
I always get a little teared up on the first day of school. I enjoy spending the summer with my kids at home (even though they do get on my nerves from time to time.!!!). It seems so much more relaxed during the summer, but now time for homework and early bedtimes! YUCK!!!!

Today I Celebrate 3 years of Marriage to a WONDERFUL man. I love him more and more everyday. I never thought it was possible to love so much like I love him and my kids. They all seem to make life sweeter. Here are just some of the MANY things I love about my husband.

-He is silly and makes me laugh.

-He is very smart.

-He is a great dad.

-He is a hard worker and provider for our family.

-He loves me.

-He helps me clean the kitchen every night after dinner.

-He makes up funny songs , with his own words.

-He LIKES driving a mini van with family stick figures on the back!

-He cooks.

-He is and has been my best friend for years.

-We REALLY enjoy spending time together.

-He knows I will fall asleep on the couch EVERY single time we watch a movie.

There are way to many reasons to list on here without getting too sappy.

Just know that he is such a great man, and I'm so blessed that God sent him to walk beside me through life.
