Tuesday Night Fun!

Charlie LOVED Chuck E. Cheese. He had a blast.

Tristen, Rick's son!
Salene, Rick's daughter.....

Ashley taking it easy after her kick-boxing!

Henry's BFF, Rick, is in town for Turkey day. They have been friends since they were in Kindergarten. (Do guys have BFF's like us girls?) Anywho--- Rick lives in Houston and Henry hasn't seen him since our Wedding. So tonight we met up for some Chuck E. Cheese pizza and some catching up.

You Go Girl!

Little peak at Ashley's class.

She got a good work out. My muscles burned just watching her.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

It is official! Ashley is signed up for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That is a hard word to say. We signed her up for 6 months to see how she likes it. She had a blast last night at her trial class. She learned a take down move, attempted to "flip her coach", and the "paper cutter " move. ( to choke a person who is trying to hurt you. Doesn't that sound like fun. There are a few people I'd like to try to paper cutter on!! LOL Tonight will be her official first class. I'll try and get some video for you!!!!

Just Ashley

A little update on what Ashley has been up to. She is playing volleyball as some of you know. She has practice 2 times a week and 2 games on the weekend. That keeps us busy. She made the Honor Roll again. AB Honor Roll with an 88 in language. Almost all A's. Way to go girl. She participated in UIL music memory again this year. This time she had to travel to Borger for the day. She doesn't have the scores yet. She really enjoys music and anything musical. She is taking an Extreme Martial Arts class on Monday. I think she will really enjoy this. This is a free class to see if we would like to sign up. Her friend Gavin goes to it and he really enjoys it. They say there are alot of girls in the class. This will teach her lots of self confidence and protection if need be. Last but not least, she will soon be starting Upwards Cheerleading. This I'm not real excited for. Ashley loves cheerleading, and knows it is not something I really get into. But she is really looking forward to doing this. Well, that is all she's been up to lately. She is a busy little girl, but she manages her time just fine!

Special Christmas Stockings

These stockings were made by my 2nd MOM Judy. Judy is my BFF Kelley's MOM, and she is awesome. She whipped these stockings out last year right before Christmas for my kids. They are so beautiful and so special to have. Thank you Judy for giving us something so special.

Pacifier Addiction

Charlie was really a "ham" this morning. He was sooo silly for the camera. He just started this 2 pacifier thing yesterday for Henry. This morning I turned around and this is what I saw. Crazy little boy!

Are You Ready For Some Volleyball?

We are now into our 2nd weekend of Volleyball games. Saturday and Sundays are usually our game days. We are 2 for 2 so far. These girls have really improved this year. They are doing so good. The game today was a little tough, but they had fun. Here are some pics of our volleyball STAR!

My New Love

I'm probably WAY behind times, but I've found a new LOVE.

Shutterfly is the bomb!!

I've made 3 photo books so far and I'm so impressed with how they turned out. I can't print these at home because I use too much ink. I hate buying ink.

If you haven't been on their site, go check it out.

Happy Things

Most of you know how much I LIKE organization. Everything needs a home. I feel out of sorts when things are unorganized. I have a touch of OCD, and I know it drives my family NUTS!

We most always do our bi-weekly grocery shopping on Sunday mornings. It usually consists of a 2 hour Wal-Mart trip, a mad "TWEEN" who doesn't get something new, a screaming baby ready to run, and a completely calm husband who loads and unloads the goods. As for me I'm somewhat frazzled when it is all said and done.

But I love the look of a full and ORGANIZED pantry. It makes me HAPPY.

Rock A Bye Baby

This "baby" is growing and growing. He is looking more like a little boy and starting to act more like a little boy than my "BABY". Where did the time go????? He has found a new "trick". He likes to sit in the reclier, but today he decided standing was much more fun. He has learned to rock the chair and it gets him tickled and he smiles really big! Well, hope you enjoy this little clip of my "BABY" (He is actually watching Pooh and Friends this morning)

Fit Throwing 101

He was pushing that chair through the kitchen, and it got stuck on the fridge. Man he got mad. I couldn't help but laugh and grab the camera. (which made him cry more!) He's a fit thrower, just like his sister! LORD HELP US!!!!! BTW did you see the the awesome hiding place for his Christmas present! We need more storage here. Good thing he is still young, cause that won't work next year!

Just A Sweet Hello!

Man I LOVE this dog. Look at that sweet face, and just imagine her cold nose! She is such a sweet, funny dog!

What's for Dinner Tonight?

Steak Stir Fry

Ingredients:

1 or 2 Good Cuts of Steak. (We use 1 New York Strip)
1 Bell Pepper
1/2 Onion
Garlic Minced or garlic salt
Pepper
Soy sauce
Oil
1-1/2 to 2 cups rice ( depending how many you are cooking for)
Slice steak into thin strips and sprinkle with pepper and either use the minced garlic about a teaspoon or sprinkle with garlic salt and combine it well.
Cook your rice according to directions, and set aside.
Coat pan with some vegetable oil and start to brown your steak. Get the pan pretty hot.
when steak almost done add chopped pepper, and onion. Get the vegetables tender and add your rice and some shakes of soy sauce.
Just stir everything together, and cook until veggies are pretty tender, and everything is well combined.
You can add mushrooms if you like. I've also had this with broccoli in it and it is really good.
This is probably one of my favorite meals.

What's for Dinner Tonight?

This was my first time making this and we REALLY liked it. (I think we just REALLY like ALL food!)

Ingredients:

1/4 c margarine

1/2 c honey

1/4 c mustard

1/2 tsp salt

Melt margarine in baking dish, then stir in all other ingredients.

Place chicken in dish (Either Chicken breast or tenders- I used one lb of tenders and had plenty of sauce left over. I think you could easily do 4 breasts with this sauce.)

Cook on 375 about 40 min. flip half way through.

This was a sweet sauce more like sweet and sour chicken. Didn't have mustard overload at all. It was very good. We served it over rice. We will definitely make this again.

High School Musical 3

People who know me, know that " I HEART TROY". With that said I must say I did NOT like HSM 3 as much I loved the other 2. Some of the senes I did really like, but the overall movie not my fav. I must say that HSM 2 was my fav. I'm not sad that I went to see it at the theater because I like going to the movies. But, next time I go to a "KID" movie, i'll make sure I sit AWAY from others. I had People behind me kicking my chair, then I moved and a kid 2 rows behind me was kicking the chair in front of them. BANG BANG over and over. I wanted to tell the parents to control their kids feet! That is a pet peeve of mine. But the overall movie was one thumb up. I still may buy it on DVD for the locker room seen!!! LOL

Gayle's Birthday Brunch!

smile LIVY
Ashley and Allyson...................

Gayle and Velda (my MIL and FIL!)

We celebrated my Mother-in-law's birthday today with a brunch at our house. We made a Breakfast casserole, fruit and fruit dip, biscuits, bacon, muffins and coffee. It was nice to get together and visit for a while. We made WAY to much food though. I had a whole casserole leftover, along with other stuff too. For Gayle's gift, Darenda and I went to Brush with Art and painted her a big platter and had the 4 grandkid's put their handprints on it and sign the back. We loaded the tray up with muffins and donuts. She didn't even notice until we were cleaning up that the tray was for her.

Happy Halloween

2 Pirates and a Punk Rock Girl.

Charlie was not too sure about his Halloween costume this year. He did NOT want to pose for pics, he did NOT want to wear his hat. Henry said that he cried for about an hour after putting on his costume. All he wanted to do was eat suckers. WITH THE PAPER STILL ON THEM!

I think it is so funny the difference between boys and girls. Ashley was all into dress up even at this age. Heck she still likes to dress up!
